Benefits of Corporate Sponsorship

Corporate sponsorship dollars make your company part of an effort to fill in where public dollars cannot. But, we recognize the need for a return on your investment. So, not only will it feel good to support local youth athletics, you’ll also get:

  • Exposure to hundreds of attendees and participants through banner placements, logo promotion on printed materials, media (and social media) traffic related to our events

  • Build brand awareness with a very tight-knit community of local parents and families supporting this family-oriented sport

  • Build brand association with one of the state’s best athletic programs

  • Be associated with very public and well-documented efforts to expand inclusion and participation so that no interested student-athlete is left behind

Event Advertising

Like most youth sports, our lacrosse games have lots of spectators including families, other students, school staff and faculty, coaches and scouts. Which provides a great opportunity to create brand awareness for you!

Regular Season: February 2025 – May 2025

JHS Men’s Lacrosse plays 20+ games during the spring season, approximately half on our home field - the JHS football stadium. Warbirds produces a team roster/game schedule, with border space for corporate sponsor advertising. Announcements are made throughout games on our PA system, which provides opportunities for sponsor acknowledgement. We have multiple places to hang sponsor banners including the concession stand, fence, scoreboard, and stats table. We would also consider the idea of company/team branded items such as reusable cups/water bottles, napkins, or swag for team sponsorship.

7th Annual Trey Ennis Lacrosse for Leukemia Tournament – December 7-8, 2024

Trey Ennis was a student at Jordan High School and an avid member of the men's lacrosse team, who died during his sophomore year due to Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL). This tournament honors Trey’s passion and love for lacrosse, supports the cancer care community at Duke and UNC, and creates pathways for participation in a sport he loved. This year, we will be welcoming at least sixteen teams from across North Carolina (including local middle school teams) with their entourages of coaches, parents/siblings, and hometown groupies. The tournament is held on three athletic fields at Jordan High School, with hundreds of participants walking around campus. Promotion opportunities include banners and signs displayed on field entrances/fences and concession stands, making branded items available (at our concession stands) and logo placement/acknowledgement of sponsorship on printed materials and in tournament communications including social media, press releases, emails and the Warbirds website. Our goal is to raise $15,000 this year, a higher goal than the $10,000 we raised each year from 2021 through 2023, to donate to the pediatric cancer family support programs at UNC and Duke. People look forward to this tournament all year and always feel pride in their association with it.

Warbirds Annual Golf Tournament – February 2025

The annual golf tournament is a social event – an opportunity for our players, coaches, friends, and families to relax and spend some time together - with a little friendly competition. We rotate golf courses every year, so the location and date are TBD, but we anticipate 72 people for a shotgun start of 18 holes. Sponsors are acknowledged with banners, tee box signs and an event program – and noted in all event communications.

Lacrosse is the fastest-growing team sport in the US and has been for over 15 years. It's a quick-paced and exciting game to play, thrilling to watch, and features a community of players who are focused on achievement on and off the field. The Jordan High School Falcons Men’s Lacrosse team is one of the top three highest achieving academic sports teams in all of North Carolina. It performs five times better than the national average at having its players attend college. The team of 40 players participate in Jordan Men’s Lacrosse Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.
